Hanging out with @rory_macdonald tonight, I had the pleasure to meet one of my idols, the baddest man that ever lived: @Fedoroskol pic.twitter.com/wDTq68vx9D

What happens when the greatest heavyweight of all time meets the finest welterweight to ever compete? They get a photo with the most beloved fight promoter to ever hold a mixed martial arts (MMA) event.
Oh, and there’s some kid from Canada photobombing the pic, but I hear he’s got some skills, too.
What’s most interesting about this photo, taken backstage at Bellator 165 last weekend in San Jose (results and GIFs here), is just how small Fedor Emelianenko looks for a heavyweight.
Make the call!
He could probably fight Conor McGregor at welterweight, judging by his average physique, especially when propped up by 170-pound wunderkind Rory MacDonald, as well as former UFC champ Georges St-Pierre (who was on the scene to corner Francis Carmont).
I dunno, maybe it’s the sweater.
Fedor, who returned to combat sports last year in Japan, will make his Bellator MMA debut this February when he collides with UFC import Matt Mitrione (more on that fight here).
So much for picking on someone your own size.
